SuiteSpot and PointCentral Partner to Deliver Secure, Role-Based Access Control for Multifamily Maintenance

July 31, 2025

2 min read

TORONTO [July 31, 2025] – SuiteSpot, the AI-powered maintenance and capital management platform for multifamily operations, today announced a new integration with PointCentral, a leader in smart property technology and access control solutions. The integration brings secure, time-restricted, technician-specific smart lock access directly into SuiteSpot’s maintenance workflows—empowering operators to maintain tighter control over unit access, while improving efficiency and accountability across their maintenance teams.

As the demand for streamlined, secure operations grows, this integration ensures that the right people have access to the right places at the right times—with full audit trails and no manual key handoffs.

“This partnership is all about extending security without adding friction,” said Darren Sharpe, CRO of SuiteSpot. “Access codes are now auto-generated, technician-specific, and time-bound—so you get seamless coordination without compromising on control or safety.”

How It Works

When a technician is assigned a work order in SuiteSpot, the platform communicates with PointCentral’s backend to provision a smart access code— unique to that work order and the individual assigned to it and valid only during the time window of the job. If the task is reassigned, the original code is revoked, and a new one is issued to the new technician, preserving strict role-based access and eliminating exposure.

Why It Matters

Unlike legacy systems where access codes are manually shared or exposed in free-text fields, this integration enforces modern access control standards—reducing risk, preventing misuse, and streamlining the maintenance experience for teams and residents alike.

"Together, PointCentral and SuiteSpot are closing the gaps between dispatch and door entry,” said Nate Wysk, General Manager of PointCentral. “We’re combining real-time access provisioning with mobile work order management and next-level security. Operators stay in control, technicians stay efficient, and residents stay protected.”

The integration is now available to joint customers at no additional cost. SuiteSpot and PointCentral will continue collaborating on future use cases, including broader automation across technician workflows.
